About D&K Aviation
D&K Aviation Inc. was founded in 1991 at Republic
Airport (FRG) located in Farmingdale, New York.
D&K began as a small
independent repair facility specializing in light piston aircraft
maintenance and overhaul. As it grew in size and reputation, D&K’s
business expanded to include larger, turbo-propeller aircraft. D&K also
started providing “on-call” services to a growing number of turbine
aircraft operating in and out of Republic Airport.
In 1998 D&K Aviation earned FAA
Part 145 Repair Station Certification.
In 2002 D&K
Aviation earned JAA Certification.
Like all
forward-thinking companies, D&K builds on its vast experience and
ever-increasing capabilities to continually expand its client base. Today
D&K holds both Airframe Class 3 and Class 4 ratings and limited engine and
propeller ratings. It also provides scheduled and 24 hour “on-call”
maintenance for a variety of turbine aircraft, and oversees the
maintenance of several corporate and FAR Part 135 operated turbine power
aircraft and helicopters.
 In addition to
the expanding turbine aircraft maintenance/ management operation, D&K has
an extensive structural repair department with access to FAA DER services.
As vendors find it increasingly difficult to locate airframe component
spares for out of production aircraft, D&K specializes in structural
repairs of airframe components for Falcon Jet and IAI Westwind type
aircraft. |
